Calculators (Get one and keep track of it!)

	All students must have a calculator with them during every class. Although students may use a basic scientific calculator (must have sin,cos,and tan buttons) the Mathematics Department recommends the TI-83 Plus graphing calculator from Texas Instruments. Click here for a list of retailers and prices. Students should be aware that since graphing calculators are not inexpensive, they have been a target of thefts nationwide. Calculators should be kept secure or within eyesight at all times. Video games and other distracting programs can be deleted by pressing the yellow button towards the upper left corner that says 2nd, then the + button, then choosing Reset and All RAM.
